Lucknow: In protest against the ongoing aggressive actions by the United States and Israel against Iran, leftist political parties organized a march in Lucknow. The demonstration was jointly conducted by the Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation, Communist Party of India, Communist Party of India (Marxist), and the All India Forward Bloc. The march began at Parivartan Chowk and proceeded to the District Magistrate’s office, where a memorandum addressed to the President of India was submitted through the DM.
Speakers condemned the attacks as violations of international law and national sovereignty, accusing imperialist powers of targeting sovereign nations to control oil and natural resources. They cited recent incidents in Venezuela and Iran, including the alleged illegal abduction of the Venezuelan president and threats to Iran’s Supreme Leader, as threats to international peace and stability.
The parties also criticized the Indian government’s perceived silence and urged Delhi to adopt an independent, principle-based foreign policy, clearly opposing the US-Israeli aggression.

Comrade Ramesh Singh Sengar of CPI (ML) Liberation described the war as imperialist aggression aimed at resource control. Comrade Madhu Garg, CPI (M) district secretary, called it a threat to global peace and stressed the need for worldwide opposition. Comrade Rizwan of CPI highlighted the consistent imperialist agenda targeting nations like Iraq, Libya, Venezuela, and now Iran. Uday Nath Singh, AI Forward Bloc leader, urged the government to take a strong stand for world peace.
The march saw a large turnout of activists and citizens, who raised slogans against imperialism and in support of peace.
